Color Specialist

A graduate of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, Interior Design. She loves working with color and has experience with a variety of styles that gives the client wide options to fit their taste.

Tips on Color:

  1. Paint your smallest room (like a half bath) in that color - it will be tiny but powerful
  2. Opt for one larger piece of art on the walls in this room vs various small ones
  3. Dark walls do the opposite of what you’d expect -- they make the room actually feel bigger when trimmed with a white or creamy semi gloss paint color
  4. If you are person that prefers a neutral palette in a room, step outside your safe zone and inject a few elements of bold color using art, accessories and pillows -- it will really take the interest of the room up a notch or two
  5. Gold is back in a big way -- a few accents will really warm up a room (just resist over doing it)
  6. Paint old, vintage furniture an accent color and use it to add interest in any room of your home
